Rare french napoleonic model 1814 guard du corps cavalry officer's sword. Of very fine design, with elegant brass four-bar guard, including royal crown, fleur-de-lys and trophies of arms. Blade with traces of inscription and klingenthal maker's mark to blade spine. Complete wiht original steel scabbard a perfect fit. This is a scarce frenhc napoleonic sword seldom seen.
