Although now in well worn condition, this is a nice example of a british naval boarding cutlass which dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is mounted with a blade that measures 24 1/2 inches in length and reflects good honest wear as well as old pitting scars. The steel cup and tubular hilt also show wear but do remain sturdy. Overall measuring 29 1/2 inchse in length.
