Fabulous French Dagger Dirk 19Th Century

This fabulous french dagger dirk dates from the late 19th century and wears a wonderfully detailed bronze hilt. It is mounted with a plain, double-edged blade that measures 3/4 inches in length which has the maker's mark b on either side and remains in superb condition. The outstanding bronze hilt is constructed with an almost sinister type theme and the two intricately detailed figures make up the handle and crossguard.

The brass scabbard wears a leather throat trim and remains in very nice condition, fitting snuggly to the blade. Overall measuring 12 1/8 inches in length.
